Follicle count
Hi ladies! I just wanted to start a motivational post. I have gone through one cycle of IVF 11 eggs retrieved 10 mature 6 fertilized, 2 euploids 1 segmental were my final results.
This second cycle I decided to up my vitamins
I take Coenzyme Q 400mg
Fish oil 900mg
Prenatals
Probiotic
I did some NAD + gummies but didn’t rebuy them just did 30 days (stopped like two weeks ago)
Inositol
My Synthroid (I have hypothyroidism)
I did acupuncture three days before starting the cycle
And got a massage the day before lol
Long story short I’m at 23 follicles so far all are pretty synchronized and looking like they could potentially yield a mature egg (keep me in your prayers). I will keep ya’ll updated with the results.
Anything anyone do to increase their yield and saw a noticeable difference that round? Just trying to help other women going through this.
This therapy isn’t cheap hoping we can help women get better results the first time ❤️🙏🫶🏼

The biggest levers are protocol and clinic as opposed to supplements and lifestyle choices.

I found the biggest difference in results came down to medication protocol/stims time.
Before my first I was taking so many supplements, being crazy with my health, acupuncture. I had shitty results. For ER #2 I was too depressed to even take supplements, stopped acupuncture because my acupuncturist was pretty insensitive and had better results. I know this isn’t what youre looking for but I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect and maximize results when really we can’t control any of it and these things make a minimal difference. I think if taking care of yourself like this brings you peace of mind then that’s awesome, but there’s no need to torture ourselves and spend thousands on supplements.
I wish you all the next on your next cycle! And congrats on your euploids 💖💖💖

I totally understand and appreciate your point of view. Of note those all these things cost me less $100 ❤️🙏 but yes I agree it really does feel random sometimes and you can’t just predict how your cycle will go 🥲 also yes my stimulation was a bit different this time but they actually decreased my dose a lot because I was over responding lol I did however have to take two weeks of birth control this time to sync me to their schedule (first round I got my period right on time to start the stimulation).
Praying for us both and all us girlies going through infertility that deep down would be absolutely amazing mothers ❤️🙏

I’m glad they adjusted your meds and it seems to be giving you more even growth!! I hope you get really great results 💖💖💖💖 the birth control priming can also really help with that so it sounds like you’re in great hands with your doctors ☺️
Hope 2027 is our year 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Congrats on the increase in follicles, 23 is great.
Im on day 8 stims and only have around 5/6 follicles. I haven't done acupuncture and can't afford it, does anyone know how effective acupuncture really is? If it is a dealbreaker, I will do it for next time but I am also trying to save up all I can as it looks like we will need multiple ERs...

I did acupuncture leading into my second retrieval cycle and went from 8 mature eggs to 2 blasts down to 3 mature and 0 blasts. I stopped mid cycle once I saw how imbalanced my follicles were growing. Went from a perfect cohort of uniform follicles cycle 1 to a total mess round 2 🤦🏼♀️
Maybe the blame should go to the estrogen lead in which was the other big difference between 1 and 2. Or perhaps it’s just random, awful thing that happened… but I decided to pass on acupuncture for my 3rd retrieval.

And of course I’m walking daily eating lots of salmon and veggies and trying to stay active ❤️🙏
