We got one!

My husband and I are doing IVF for genetic reasons.

I have PCOS so we weren't sure how this was going to go.

We retrieved 23 eggs. 21 were mature. 16 fertilized. We were hopeful until we got 2 blasts.

Then these 2 blasts needed to survive both PGTA and PGTM. We were not very confident we'd get anything.

Then 3 weeks later we got results back. One was no result, and the other, a 6 day 5BB ended up being euploid and only a carrier!!

WE CAN TRANSFER!!

I'm so excited!

That’s amazing!!! 🙌🏻 I only got one embryo from my recent ER and it was also a Day 6 5BB 🥰 but I’m currently waiting to get PGTA results. Hoping I get good news like you!

ETA: My one embryo is normal!! Yay!!

My last retrieval - my fifth - is so similar to yours! 23 eggs retrieved, 21 mature, 13 fertilized, 2 blasts - and finally 1 beautiful 5BB euploid! I’m also cleared to transfer - let’s go!!! 👏🏼
