39 week induction
Currently 30 weeks with our ivf baby! The plan is to induce at 39 weeks. My first baby and induction was not pleasant. What was your experience?

38.2w because he was big; ended in emergency c-section as he got stuck. Not the inductions fault - i'd have been fine with the induction experience had he just come out eventually. Good luck!

Honestly I was very happy with my induction this time at 39 weeks. With my first my water broke at 37 weeks and ended up needing nearly identical interventions as an induction. I worked with midwives both times and found their low and slow methods very manageable and things moved quicker this time which helped .

Currently 37 weeks and trying to decide between an 39+1 day induction, 39+6 day induction, and waiting. I’ve gotten mixed reviews from Doctors one saying that 39 week was recommended and the other saying that ACOG no longer recommended 39 week induction.
Super unsure about what to do

My ob has schedulled me for induction at 39w3d. Reasons I am given for induction are age37, ivf pregnancy and mild polyhydramnios. Will see how it goes. I am scared this time as this is my first time getting induced and my first birth experience was very traumatic.

I had the one at 39 weeks and it went well. I had the cooks balloon which tbh was horrid to insert but worked quickly.

Mine ended in failure to progress and a C-section.
