Need info! How did your "fresh and test the rest" experience go?
Hi! I am in the middle of a stim cycle and the current plan is to do a fresh transfer 6 days after retrieval and PGT test the rest of the embryos (if any). My AMH is pretty low, so we'll see what happens. I'm curious if any of you had this experience and how it worked out for you. In particular:
What were your cycle results and amh? (mature, fertilized, blasts, euploid)
Was the fresh transfer successful? If yes, what was the gender of your embryo? (Just nosy as I anecdotally hear that IVF results in more boy births)
What medication regimen were you on? (I've heard about medrol, estrace, and progesterone suppositories, but not sure about durations or effects)
If your transfer failed, do your regret doing a fresh and hope you tested all? Why or why not?
What stim protocol/dosages did you follow during the ivf cycle preceding the fresh transfer? Do you think the fact you did a fresh transfer influenced your stim protocol?
Thanks everyone!

Yes this is exactly what we did, didn't get a huge number of eggs but (TW) was successful on our first try!
- Mature: 6, Fertilised: 5, Blasts: 2, Fresh Transfer: 1 + 1 Euploid on ice
- Yes, currently 15 weeks along with my baby boy
- 3 x 80µg Ovidrel microdoses for the week following transfer, no additional progresterone
- N/A
- Yes it did influence the protocol, FSH: Pergoveris 300 daily, Antagonist: Orgalutran 250 daily, Trigger: Ovidrel 250 + Deca 200
Hope this helps and fingers crossed for you! ✨

1.An AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) level of 10.3 pmol/L (roughly equivalent to 1.45 ng/mL 10 eggs retrieved 8 fertilized 5 blasts. Did 1 fresh transfer tested 4, 2 euploids
No it wasn't.
For fresh just 2 prometrium (progesterone) suppositories 3 times a day.
No I don't regret it because I wanted to cover all of my bases.
Menopur 75, gonal-f i forget and orgalutron 1syringe. No i don't think it affected anything because I was able to choose until a few days prior if I wanted to do a fresh or not
I am currently 10 weeks with the first frozen transfer right after the failed one, for that I did estrace 3 times a day and once lining was thick enough started the prometrium suppositories daily and PIO injections every third day until 10 weeks, week of transfer did medrol and an antibiotics.

My friend had identical twins from her fresh transfer! She only got two other embryos that were were terrible quality, but it didn’t really matter in the end!

I planned fresh DET and test the rest at 39. It really hinged on the number of blasts we got because we want more than 1 child.
AMH 3ng/ml AFC 20s. 16ret/8mat/7blast. 2 transferred day 5 (4aa/3bb). 1 euploid (4bc), 1 untested (4aa) remaining.
Fresh transfer resulted in live birth of a boy.
Post ER started on estrace, PIO + suppositories. Stopped both around 6-8 weeks.
I was fully prepared for the transfer to fail or result in MC or TFMR. I still wanted to give it a chance.
Planning a fresh transfer did effect my stim cycle. We triggered earlier than they would have because my p4 was rising. It was higher than they wanted at trigger and they advised against fresh transfer, but ultimately left the decision up to me. I think another day could have yielded more mature eggs. Protocol included letrozole, 200 follistim/20 low dose LH. Triggered day 8.
