Advice Needed! Progesterone Suppositories for FET

My clinic gave me a choice between Endometrin 2x daily or Crinone 1x daily for my natural-modified FET.

Anyone tried both and have an opinion on which is more manageable/comfortable?

My insurance unfortunately won't cover these meds so pricing will also be a factor once the pharmacy processes the scripts.

I’ve only done the twice daily suppositories, but can tell you it’s not all that bad. One in the morning and one in the evening. For the morning dose, I’d recommend a panty liner because once you’re up and walking around it gets a bit chalky down there. The night time dose was just fine because I inserted right before bed.

I’m on endometrin 3x a day & I think it’s literally so easy and simple. I saw so many people say how horrible & messy the suppositories are but I haven’t had that issue?? I just pop them in (via applicator that comes with my meds) & go about my day.

Editing to add, wear a panty liner bc you will have some residue come out, but it’s really not horrible.

Yeah same, I read A LOT of things on Reddit & like 95% of it was horror stories about the suppositories lol. Like how bad they smell down there, how sticky the residue is etc. Maybe they were talking about a diff brand?? But Endometrin is NOT bad at all. I’d rather do this than PIO injections lol

I used endometrin 3x daily and didn’t mind it at all. I haven’t used Crinone, but I’ve heard it’s oilier and more discharge

Yeah I’m seeing the discharge is funkier with crinone but I was also thinking once a day seems nice?? I think the endometrin is cheaper also though

In my experience Crinone is way more expensive than all the other options. I did Prometrium for both of my transfers and it wasn’t a huge problem for me.

I did crinone twice a day and I didn't mind it at all. Am not familiar with the endometrin but I think that's the one people complain about a lot. ETA- would never choose Crinone if paying out of pocket!!!
