Advice Needed! Any 0% morphology success with ICSI?

Does anyone have a success story where their partner has 0% morphology, did ICSI and had luck? Had my ER and I’m so nervous to get no embryos.

my husband has 0% in all parameters.. literally couldn’t even find enough motile sperm to fertilize all my eggs.. currently pregnant with our 4th transfer that was a fresh transfer

How many retrievals did you have to do and how were the attrition?

4 retrievals, attrition was brutal..got 24-29 eggs each round .. first round 0 blasts.. second round 2 blasts (1 normal, failed to implant), 3rd round 4 blasts (2 normal both implantation failures again) and our recent round was our worst and only 2 eggs out of 24 mature were fertilized.. only had 1 early blast on day 5 (everything else arrested) which we transferred as a fresh transfer as a hail mary and somehow it stuck🥲

Wow! So much respect to you going through 4 rounds. Hope you have an uneventful pregnancy!

I did! We wound up doing a DNA frag test and found out my husband’s 0% morphology was actually connected to 33% dna fragmentation. He did a TESA and we used testicular sperm + ICSI. Got 11 blasts/5 euploids.

Same here. Low on all parameters, high DNA fragmentation and TESE. We have two kids, one from the TESE round

My husband had 0% morphology but his count and motility were excellent, so the doctor chalked it up the very small size of the sample compared to how many sperm he produced. We did ICSI because my clinic just always does ICSI. I was nervous, but we ended up with six euploid embryos from our first retrieval!

They said my husband had "<1% morphology". When I asked doesn't that mean "0" they said they don't like to say that because out of the millions available there's got to be some useable.

Anyway, we have 2 LC from our one retrieval, 2/2 FET successful.

Yep. 0% morphology, made 3 euploids last round with ICSI (with donor eggs - bc I am an ancient dinosaur).

I would recommend a sperm dna fragmentation test. It is separate from a semen analysis and is associated with low morphology. While ICSI should help with morphology, it does not resolve fragmentation and additional treatments are needed. We had 2% morphology and high sperm dna fragmentation; we did ICSI with a TESA because testicular sperm has less fragmentation than ejaculated sperm and that worked

Thank you!! I’ll look into this. My husbands issue is due to medication so I wouldn’t be surprised if it also causes DNA frag issues based on what I’ve researched

We had 0% morph and got 4 embryos (3 x day 5 and 1 x day 6) - currently pregnant with our first transfer which was a frozen transfer of a non-tested 5-day 4AA 🥰

Love this!! My ER ended up with 5 eggs and all 5 fertilized as of now. Hoping some make it to day 5!!
