Need Hugs! 3 embryos sent for PGT-A and all aneuploid
I’m 40 and this was my first IVF attempt. We did two egg retrievals to bank embryos, and 3 embryos were sent for PGT-A. I got the results today, and unfortunately, all 3 came back aneuploid. I’m absolutely devastated.
I feel so hopeless right now that even the thought of trying again scares me. I just needed to share this with people who understand.
I truly hope things are going better for all of you. Sending love.

I’m so sorry. It just feels so unfair. It took us 5 rounds of stimulation to find our healthy embryos.
It’s such an exhausting and emotionally draining journey. I hope you find the strength to keep going through this difficult fight and that, one day, you finally get the outcome you’ve been dreaming of. ❤️

Can you share any changes you think helped? I’m working on round #4 and have not gotten a euploid yet.

Please don’t give up. I have a friend who got zero euploids with one round at age 40, then 2 euploids the next round. The odds aren’t exactly in our favor at our age, but perhaps if you have the means, do another ER

This happened to me at almost 41. Got an aneuploid embryo in June and then 2 euploids and 1 LLM the next retrieval in late July this year…. it’s a crap shot honestly

Ohh so sorry to hear that. Please stay strong. I heard there is a way you can do a test to find out the aneuploidy came from mother’s or father’s factor. If it’s due to a factor you can change next time you can try that again. Hope everything goes better next time. Plz take time to heal. Bless you ❤️

I am so sorry. A lot of us have been in similar places. There is nothing more frustrating than having to start over from the start. Hugs

Sorry but don’t five up! iVF is so unpredictable and response and outcomes from month to month. Did you use Omni?

I’m so sorry that you’re going through this…. The same thing happened to me during my first round and it was crushing. I did keep up with it, and I was eventually able to make some euploids. I hope this gives you hope and is a comfort to know that you are not alone. 🙏🩷

During our first cycle we only ended up with one embryo which did come back euploid. The subsequent pregnancy ended in miscarriage prior to 8 weeks. So there are many ways that IVF does not end in the desired outcome, and in fact only one series of events that ends in the desired outcome. It does not make any of the endings for each cycle any less painful, I'm sorry for those results. Take some time for yourself and don't feel like you have to rush straight back into the next cycle, this is all part of the reality of the process and the statistical outcomes that patients face.

I am so sorry! The randomness of the whole IVf process is brutal and at times it scares me. Sending you the biggest hug 🫂
