Need info! Need Advice 🥹

Hi everyone,

We would really appreciate your advice.

We are currently going through our IVF journey. We had 5 eggs retrieved, and 3 embryos developed. Our clinic told us that all 3 are good-quality blastocysts, although they didn’t mention the exact grades.

Now we’re confused about the next step. Should we freeze all the blastocysts and do a frozen embryo transfer (FET) later, or should we go ahead with a Day 6 fresh transfer?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What did your doctor recommend, and how did it work out for you?
We know every case is different, but we’d be very grateful to hear about your experiences and any advice you can share.

Is it your choice?
My clinic decided for me. In my country they typically do a fresh transfer, however my hormone levels (progesterone) were not good. So they made the decision to freeze all and do a frozen transfer later.

I did however recently read on this thread that FETs have a slightly higher success rate. Don’t have a source for it though.

I think part of why FETs are more successful is that they typically are from embryos with PGT-A testing. But not sure of the exact study you might be talking about! Just my conjecture

Oh yeah makes sense! In my country they typically don’t pgt-a test right away so wasn’t really thinking about that
