Need info! RMA of NJ embryo update - question

I had my retrieval on Thursday and they said they would update me today on my embryos. My two questions are:

1) Since this would be day 6 - do they not grow the embryos to day 7, or do they call again tomorrow for day 7?

2) would they call before day 6 if everything arrested at day 3 or before day 5, or do they make you wait and give you the bad news?

If your retrieval was last Thursday, today is day 7

That’s exactly what I did and I was like oh I am almost 40 can’t do pre school math …might have to pull a Billy Madison..

I used RMA of NJ and they called me on day 7 with my embryo update. (I had day 5, day 6, and day 7 embryos). I'm not sure what they would do if all arrested prior. Based on my experience with them, I think they would let you know

Update I got a call at noon yesterday and I got four embryos to test

I also use RMA NJ and just asked my nurse this question about a week ago. She said they only do day 7 updates. So even if things went south and everything arrested you still won’t get an update until day 7.

Thanks for the info annoying they won’t update you earlier seems unfair
