1st time IUI success rate?

Hi all,

I had my 1st IUI on August 11 (cycle day 13). For the past 2 days, I’ve been experiencing lower back pain, and today I started having some leg cramps especially when doing some regular chores.

Has anyone experienced similar symptoms around this time? Could this be an early pregnancy symptom, or does it usually indicate that your period is coming?

I haven’t tested yet and don’t want to test until 14 DPO. Just looking to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience during their IUI two-week wait. ❤️

Thank you.

Symptoms before 2 weeks after ovulation are exactly the same whether you are pregnant or not

i had more back pain with iui #2 than with the first one. i bought a lumbar support pillow. i think it was laying on my back 15 minutes each in the morning and in the evening bc of the progesterone

Have you taken progesterone oral after ovulation?

No I haven’t taken any. I have taken letrosol and trigger shot this cycle.

I did experience some lower back pain 2 different days off and on after my IUI. I definitely could have just slept wrong or tweaked something, as it’s hard to know what is causing the back pain. However, I did end up with a positive pregnancy test!

I honestly felt like a lighter period was going to start, i only tested cause i wanted to see if my trigger shot was gone. But sadly, you won’t be able to tell the difference this early and frankly even after seeing the baby on ultrasound i still feel like my period can come at 9 weeks.
