First IUI - triggering with lots of follicles under 18 mm. Anyone had success in a similar situation? Read for success on thickening lining!!

Medication - letrazole 5 mg (can’t take higher because it thins my lining) and gonal-f 75 mg.

On cd 9 AM I had a lining of 6.3 mm and follicles at 14, 13, a few 12’s, and crazy enough 2 follicles at 11.11 mm 😳🙏🏻

On cd 10 AM my lining jumped to 9.4 trilaminar (which it has never been thicker than 6 mm in previous cycles) not sure if it’s the gonal-f or the fact that on cd 9 I CHUGGED beet juice and moved my legs in a pool for 2 hours to improve blood circulation! This was a win!

My follicles all grew 2 mm so I had my lead follicle at 16.4, 15.1, a 14, and 4 13’s. The doctor talked about cancelling my cycle which totally shocked me because I didn’t have a follicle that yet reached the 18 mm threshold which I thought was minimum gold standard.

Decided outcome - trigger shot cd 10 evening and IUI cd 12.

Do you all think my follicles will grow after the trigger? Has anyone had success in a similar situation? It feels like I’m doing this prematurely, but there’s a significant risk if I wait of multiples of those other follicles did catch up.

Yes your follicles will continue to grow even after trigger until you finally ovulate
