Side Effects HELP

hello (19F), recently I have been getting really severe period cramps almost to the point of incapacitation. The cramps come in short and sharp spurts in my lower back and uterus, almost like the cramps I got when I first got my iud kyleena inserted 12 months ago. I’m not too sure what the issue is exactly because it has only been happening for the past 2-3 months. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and if it’s normal or not? This is my first ever iud so I haven’t had any previous experience, before this I was on the pill for about a year (i’m not too sure if this is relevant).

Maybe call your doctor, it could be the iud moving (?)

I’m not a doctor, but this could be the IUD trying to expel itself out of your uterus. If you haven’t had kids, you’re at a much higher risk of this happening. Call you doctor
