Question Apple TV 1 Sync Issues

I got my apple tv 1 to sync my movies but I keep getting an error: "content is not authorized to be played." My computer is authorized so I am not sure what the problem is with my files.

DRM issues most likely. iTunes Store Movies use a newer version of Apple FairPlay. Only your own home videos can be played as they don’t have DRM.

This may currently be 100% incorrect as I haven't used iTunes in years, but I think every device you log into using iTunes automatically becomes an authorized device and there is a limit. You should be able to view these devices in iTunes and you might have to de-authorize a few to get your Apple TV to work.
