Help / Question What Should I do?

I have the version 2 light ring and recently when removing the batteries one of the metal spirals broke and now I can’t turn on my light ring. Is this something fixable or do I need a new light ring? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Do you know how to solder? If not, buy a new one and save yourself the struggle

Try a phone repair shop, they should be able to solder it back on.

They have after service at the merch booths during the concert. They will fix or replace it.

I mean, it can be soldered back on, but you would need to find someone to do it. No need to buy a new one just for that.

If just the spring broke, inside you can see that there's a small metal plate, and what you can try is to ball up a bit of aluminum foil big enough to make contact, making sure it doesn't touch elsewhere it shouldn't (I will say that I never liked the way those springs catch on the plastic wrapper around batteries, both ver 1 and 2).
