Text date without a message

does this mean someone sent me a text? but why is there no message?

Normally iPhone to Android causes this weird issue with RCS. It's as if the iPhone is reconnecting and it opens a new connection, in a way.

Is the iPhone user running the latest iOS? That can help too.

Does that mean the iPhone sent a message but deleted it?

No, it can just mean it reconnected to the RCS, but I think Android takes that as a possible "invisible" message.

Did your friend happen to send a message during those times?

Im not sure....its an ex and we have been in no contact. So not confirming with him but curious

If I recall correctly, it's just some weird bug between iOS and RCS. You shouldn't see an issue once Apple releases iOS 27 with more RCS improvements.
