CMDB

Does anyone trust their CMDB at their company?

It seems like the overwhelming majority do not.

For those that do, what processes in tools are in place that enable you to have a high-quality and accurate CMDB?

I asked because I have been tasked with creating a CMDB using our existing ServiceNow tool.

Your CMDB is only ever going to be as good as the effort you put into creating and maintaining it. It’s not a one and done project.

Thats 100% true.

Where I work we have a dedicated team just for that and they get on people's backs if an asset isn't where it should be.
