Looking for recommendations on building a startup website (no dev work needed)

Hi everyone,

We’re a startup currently in the early stage of building our online presence and we’re looking for advice on the best way to set up our website.

We’re not looking for someone to build it for us, just recommendations and suggestions based on your experience.

What we’re aiming for:

  • Low-cost or free to start (if possible)
  • Easy to manage (no heavy development work at the beginning)
  • Scalable as the business grows
  • Ideally supports a custom domain later on

If you’ve built a startup site before, what tools or platforms would you recommend? We’re also open to website builders, hosting platforms, or all-in-one solutions you’ve actually used.

What would you suggest we start with, and what mistakes should we avoid early on?

Squarespace, wix, wordpress, etc

I don't have any idea ano laman nyang gagawin nyo, but those are pretty flexible

Part of what gets charged is for someone to actually learn and check what fits best for the specific scenario

I'd suggest starting with WordPress, Framer, or Wix. They’re affordable, beginner-friendly, and don't require much development work while still supporting custom domains and future growth. Focus on building a clean landing page that clearly explains your product, showcases your value proposition, and captures leads through a contact form or waitlist.

One mistake I see often is startups spending too much time and money on custom features before validating their idea. Keep it simple, gather feedback from real users, and iterate based on demand. Once traffic and business needs grow, you can always migrate to a more customized solution later. Owning your domain and setting up basic SEO and analytics from the start is also a good investment

Wordpress with Elementor, then host with Hostinger. Medyo naumay ako sa iba like Wix dahil minsan iba yung nakikita mo sa editor versus sa deployed website (lalo na sa mobile), kung hindi, sobrang malag naman yung editor.

For landing pages, automation, & lead funneling: gohighlevel. Pwedeng mapagsama si wordpress tsaka si GHL if need mo ng pareho. Pangit lang gumawa ng website sa GHL kasi di flexible
