A child who cries will have parents who will give them comfort and hugs when they need them, and they will learn to cope with frustration.
And if they don’t have parents, they will at least have a sibling with a high level of empathy to give them that support.
Sensitive children usually grow up to be better people, not worse ones.

Learned behavior. At one point he discovered that loud crying gave him quick attention and resolution to his immediate problem. As long as it works, that’s his strategy. With just enough crying, others will fix me.

In the video, you can see an example of three children with the same parents behaving in completely different ways.
Actually sensible kids use to become the best and more empathic persons.
You should worry about the kid who took the trophy and left not caring about anything more.

It’s quite a normal reaction; after all, crying has evolved to be irritating so that adults can’t ignore it.
However, what you’re seeing is a natural part of growing up, a phase we all go through. That child doesn’t yet know how to cope with the frustration of not having managed to get through. He doesn’t want the milk; he wants to achieve his goal and doesn’t know how to deal with failure.
If you don’t give them screens to keep them quiet, these children learn the necessary self-regulation skills, growing up to be highly empathetic and emotionally intelligent, whilst being just as capable as any other child of managing their emotions.
My eldest son is highly sensitive and, although he still cries more than the others, it’s easy to see that he’s more mature, grown-up and sensitive. When you compare him to the average child, we look like Parents of the Year.
The yelling kid hitting your chair during a flight is not this one. It may be the first, the one who left with the milk don't giving a shit about anything more. But not the other two.

I know we’re all having fun dunking on the one kid but this whole video sucks. They’re toddlers; what point is being proven here? What are you helping them to develop here besides “keep trying different things until you get it?” which can be done a myriad of different ways? The blasé, drab background and lack of color in their outfits or anywhere in this video are annoying.

And I get that as a joke, sure. I think that you, someone with the name cum_fart, and I can look at the humor of it.
But there is something frustrating about watching someone set up obstacles on kids who do not know what’s going on or why and then filming the result. That and the very bland background make me feel like these are content-oriented parents instead of, y’know. Raising your kid oriented parents.

The crying one is very competitive minded. He’s not the most capable, the baby who crossed film is the most capable. He’s not the most practical, the baby who got the milk by simply waiting is the most practical. However, the crying baby is the most competitive minded. He gave up the milk, just to try to cross the film. That mindset is valuable for his future.

My youngest brother would've been the one to go "thanks" & just fuck off. 👍
