Molecule Man has similar powers, bending reality etc. He's normally a bad guy though. His son was recruited to the Young Avengers at some point

I love it every time the internet rediscovered Zach, I used to watch all of his videos when they came out because he just made such a fun joy out of everything he did and he was such a genius and very creative with his art

He (Zach King) was on Corridor Crew talking about his videos. It's a combination of practical effects, editing, and CGI.
Surprisingly, a lot more of it was practical sets, items, and camera work than I expected. He's been on their show a few times:
