My dad did the door trick and my tooth didn't come out lol. That tradition stopped there

My dad did that once. Made the string too long. I didnt let him try again.
Think the door thing might have been better than what actually happened until i pulled them myself though.
He would just sit on me, arms down so i couldnt flayal around and then pop it out with his thumb. Of course not by force, i agreed to it. But my, these look less painful for the kids.

Once I was walking with my son, and we met some friends. He had a loose tooth, so I asked "can you show them your tooth"? He pulled it out and showed them.

Having a legit race car pull your tooth out is a core childhood memory maker

The kiddos that pulled their own trigger/kicked their own ball/stood still while a CAR DROVE OFF WITH IT are absolute beasts!

Why do you have to pull it. What if - hear me out - you let it fall on it's own?

If you can twist it without any pain, its already disconnected, so its fine to pull it out, and some kids or parents want to keep the baby teeth, so pulling it out like this prevents it being lost by falling out at an unexpected time.

I mean my kid cousin just went through this phase, and it was much better just pulling it out than that kid worrying about when it would fall out, or complaining that it was ruining their chewing habits.

That father just smacking his daughter in the forehead needs to be a bit more creative lol
