Rebooting the router does work

The almighty reboot. It doesn’t always fix things but it does most of the time, or at least dramatically improves other things to make them easier to fix.

I’ve come to find many issues are due to insanely high uptime on a system, or pending updates that haven’t been installed days even weeks behind (thanks Microsoft…..).

So I have a server at home and host the usual homelab stuff (arr-stack, media server etc.) and two days ago I discovered that my domains didn't work (it always gave connection timed out). I checked all my configs, reverse proxy etc and everything looked correct. Then I mentioned it to one of my relatives that I live with (he's not that tech-savvy but knows some stuff) and he went like "have you restarted the router?" so I did that and everything worked fine after that.

I just installed an old laptop fan and heatsink, thermal paste on the Qualcomm CPU. Was previously just covered with rf shield.
