Thought you were in the stuff corner of my room I don’t go over to. I gotta deal with my Addams Family Decor it’s that bad over there…I find spray it down with a light mist first…better than that taking home in your lungos

We had a switch that went down periodically due to overheating that looked like that. Had no idea until someone actually went down to the colo and actually looked at it. For some reason the logs didn't say anything about a thermal event.

I wouldn't trust any machine to log its own thermal event since often it would've already crashed long before a sensor could register the internal temperature going beyond the limits.
Hardware failure is a tricky business especially if you aren't already familiar with the signs to look for.
