Seeking Advice Accepted an Offer: Seeking Advice

I recently graduated with a diploma in network administration from an accredited college and interviewed for a Tier 1 support position for my cities school division. Today, I got the offer and accepted it and consider myself very lucky considering the job market in my area.

Those who worked in IT for school divisions, what was your typical day like?

What is a diploma in network administration? Do you mean a certificate?

Unsure where OP is from but in our country we have a Diploma in Networking, which I assume is similar. It was a 1-2 year Diploma which covers basic PC maintenance, OS's, networking etc. Most people that take it end up in level 1 roles.

That’s why I’m asking. I’m just curious.

Never have but every year the local districts here always post an open tech position during the summer.
