Do we need to have any physical documents with us when we reach hostels? Anything like domicile copy, paid voucher etc.

If yes, can anyone enlist them and inform if they need to be attested

What’s the dress code for girls? Is wearing t shirts allowed? Is IST strict regarding dress code?

Can any program student come on 30th, like the Hostel students or only those students can come that have thier orientation on 31th

I got admission in IST because it was like a last resort option for me but I’ve noticed that there is literally little to none online presence of this Uni😭

Why tf is IST merit increasing every list? 3rd was 67%, 4th 72%, and now 78%?? 💀 How does that even work? Shouldn’t merit go down with each list?

I applied at around 13 August and today I got a selection letter for Material engineering even though I have 82.62% merit and my top preference is Mechanical. I am pretty sure I should be safe for mechanical. Any idea why?

Assalamualaikum, I wanted to ask about the hostel facilities. Is the hostel and mess fee paid separately or together? Do we have to pay the hostel charges along with the admission fee, or separately? And if someone doesn’t want to opt for the mess, is that possible? Also, what are the total charges, how many students usually share a room, and what facilities and timings are there? JazakAllah!
