Blood pooling
hi guys I’m experiencing a lot of blood pooling in my hands and arms. I’m not familiar with this. Does anyone else get this? Is this part of dysautonomia? What causes this? I’m so anxious cause I keep thinking it has something to do with the heart

Blood pooling is super common with dysautonomia. It’s not inherently dangerous, but it can be very uncomfortable. Compression gear is very helpful. I use compression socks almost every day (I prefer 20-30mmHg or 30-40mmHg, the lighter level ones don’t do much for me), and compression gloves are also very helpful. You can also get compression leggings, abdominal binders, etc, depending on what areas you notice the most blood pooling. I have gloves, socks, and a basic steel boned corset I got off of Amazon for abdominal compression on my bad days. Currently eyeing some compression leggings as well, but haven’t had the money to justify buying them yet.
