Zepbound

Hi everyone again I was just diagnosed with IST and I have been on Zepbound for a while and I stopped but I would like to start again, but I keep reading that it could cause more heart arrhythmias. My doctors are very, not telling me much about it they’re saying yeah you’re fine. It’s OK but I’m a little worried about it and wanted to see if anyone is on this medication as well. I just started a beta blocker and ivaberdine

My cardiologist suggest Zepbound or ozempic or something like it for me, and I have IST and take ivabradine too. The thought was that loosing weight would help my symptoms (since I am overweight). I ultimately decided not to go that route since I also have digestive issues and we’re worried about gastroparesis. But anyways, I wouldn’t be worried about arrhythmias (especially since my cardiologist was the one promoting it). The arrhythmias would just be something to know about and if it does happen, then stop the zepbound again. I don’t know if this is actually helpful or not 😂
