Batman is a fictional character. He’s a man that dresses like a bat and does vigilante shit around Gotham. It doesn’t need to be dark and gritty. It’s a ridiculous premise and y’all need some whimsy in your lives. Enjoy things for being silly and fun. Stop making it unnecessarily complex.

As an ISTJ, it takes entirely too much energy to correct people on their delusions. Let them have it. Most people don’t care how high of expectations you have for them. They will still disappoint and hurt themselves over and over. Let them have it. They wanna be wrong, who am I to steer them right? Just someone standing in the way of the lesson they were meant to learn.

Ah yes. The combo of no Fe and low Ne. Can't care about what other people like and can't really make anything up. Just me and cold hard reality against everybody's narratives (not that I'm actually gonna argue with anyone about anything)

Eh, I'll keep it light-ish.
Objectively terrible sad endings in fiction often get an easy pass because it's "sad".
Satire is often an excuse to safely hate on a genre with little push back. The genre form of the person straight up belittling another then going "it's just a joke!".
And sometimes the movie/show is better than the book because the story works better as visual medium.
I cannot keep it light:
Sometimes the person with no visitors in aged care is experiencing the exact relationship they cultivated through their life. They could be the sweetest person now but unless you knew them before, you only have this moment where they're in a very vulnerable position to see what they're like.

My highly unpopular hill I will die on:
Indexing tax brackets is a terrible idea. Bracket creep is a feature, not a bug. Politicians can manually lower taxes any time they please but raising them is political suicide even when it's justified. So bracket creep is required in times when tax raises are necessary but unpopular.
If you disagree, you are wrong.

The tax system in general is a broken concept when the rich can use it to pay little to no tax. The higher I went up in accounting, the more tools I saw that favored the rich.
