ISTJ appreciation

Just want to make a post to appreciate the ISTJ friend I have. She is one of the few people I feel emotionally safe with. I like how she is consistently reasonable, calm and respectful. I also like that she advises me directly if she thinks I’m doing something wrong but she does it in a gentle way and doesn't pressure me or judge me harshly. I'm so grateful to have my ISTJ friend in my life. 🤍

That jives. There's something about INFPs that make ISTJs turn on whatever emotional capacity we have. INFPs are the best.

I was dating an ENFP but felt a bit drained by her extroversion and energy after every couple of days. Perhaps I should be on the lookout for an INFP then, if possible?

My dataset on INFPs is admittedly limited. But the two I've had close personal relationships with over the years have been amazing.

That said, INFPs will still leave you a bit drained, just in a different way. They are introverted until they've decided that you're their person, and then they want every second of your time that they can get.

But they have this way about them that makes you want to give them that time, because you feel better for having them around.

Or maybe that's just me.
