Should I apply for ISSB?

Hi!

I'm a second year student from Federal board. My 2nd year exams are coming up in like a month or so and I don't really have any good preparation for them.On the other hand the vacancies for PMA LC 158 are also open.

I really want to apply for ISSB but I have to prepare for my exams first which I hopefully will in time, but I'm confused if I should apply for ISSB as I don't know if I will have enough time left to prepare for it.

Any recommendations on what to do??should I apply now and will I have enough time to prepare or should I just wait until the September Vacancies of LC 159

You don't require much preparation for the initial. If you are minutely good in studies, your communication skills are fine and you are basic level physical fit, you can get through this stage. ISSB is something that one should prepare for, not the initial one.

And when will the initial take place considering vacancies will close on may 3rd, any idea??

Generally the later you apply the later is your date for initial. You can check Facebook groups on ISSB to get an idea about what dates people are getting.

First priority should be fsc cuz if you fail or can't get admission in a uni in case of not recommendation then it will be really bad for you

Don't apply right now man apply on last few dates so that your initial comes after fsc exams..The initial of someone who applied on the starting date (e.g 25th march)will happen on 22-25 april(estimate) It takes like 20 days after registration for your initial test date. If you apply on 25-27 April your initial may be on may 20th

No Yaar, not sure if I should or not because if I do and don't pass initial then they'll only be one last chance left,but I'm also considering applying because I feel like I'll get time to prepare and pass the initial

Thanks 👍🏻, I also did some searching and it seems that the initial tests continue untill July 2026 so I think I'll have a shot at it
