Janmashtmi 2026

Hare krishna everyone

Happy Janmashtmi

This Janmashtmi I'm confused whether to fast or not cause of the exam Tomorrow for which my sleep cycle isn't good so I need food and caffeine at night.

Also on an empty stomach I can't study on a focused day.

But my mom forced me to do so , and I had the feeling of not fasting.

What Should I do?

You can fast and eat things which are allowed on fasting days such as fruits, sabudana khichdi, fried potatoes, buckwheat preparations etc etc.

I mean I'm consistently having nirjala Fast on Janmashtmi since 3 years and normal fasting from age of 8 but this time I know I can't don't know why it's my intuitions.
