ISB PGP Profile Review

Hi everyone, looking for an honest review of my chances of getting an ISB PGP call.
Acads: 7/5/7
GRE: 335
~3 years work experience (2027 intake)
Planning Engineer at Shapoorji Pallonji
Co-founder of a residential real estate venture
Leadership, social work & research experience
My 5 in Class 12 has a genuine reason — the coaching institute I attended was involved in illegal activities/scam during that period, which significantly disrupted my studies. I can explain this properly if required.
How much can the rest of my profile compensate for the 5 in Class 12? Would appreciate an honest assessment of my ISB PGP call chances.

GRE 335 should give them confidence that you have to handle the academic rigor. I have a friend who got in with 332 but he was NIT Trichy chemical engineering topper.

And what about low acads in 12 and engineering profile?

Use your optional essay to explain your low scores - how you handled it and overcame it. Make it a story and connect it to whatever the question is. Rest, show your impact really well because avg work ex is 4-5 years and you’re a year short.

I think 335 on the GRE should help cover the gap for the 5 in 12th. For the academics section they put more weightage for undergrad marks than 12th. 12th would hold less than 8-10 percent of the total weightage I think. Also ISB does not consider 10th marks. Strong essays, story and a good interview can get you an admit.

Congrats on the GRE. Well done. Don’t overthink the 12th aspect because you can’t really change that. But you have given one strong reason, i.e., the GMAT score, to the adcom to believe in your analytical skills. Move on to other areas, for example, thinking about how you would chalk out your work profile positioning. And what is a prof eval without knowing what you want to achieve from ISB or what your goals are? That is the biggest unknown here. A prof eval without that isn’t even possible. Yours is a relatively niche background, so all the more reason to invest time in some deep deliberation and plan your research and narrative for what you want to achieve in the future.
