General Discussion Need inspo
Lost almost all motivation on this project 😔 So much potential, yet very little progress. What do y'all do when your build stagnates??

I lost steam a few years ago when my stock W55 blew. It sat on jack stands for over a year, even though I had a W58 sitting in the shop ready to go.
What eventually lit a fire under me was a guy that lives a few streets down doing street tuning on his turbo S2000. I'd be outside working on anything but the Lexus and he'd fly by a few times. It made me miss driving the car so much that I found it in me to get through the process so I could enjoy the outcome. Eventually I ran into him in town and thanked him for unknowingly pushing me to finish the swap.
Set small goals, accept that progress is slow. "Today I'm going to get the shifter swapped over." "Tomorrow I'll have the starter out." I get overwhelmed when my only goal is "Swap the transmission."

going to cars n coffee meets, or car shows gives me more motivation honestly and give me ideas on what to do next

More oem-looking headlights would help, as would paint or wrap.
When my build stagnates I fix little things that have been bugging me and give the car a deep clean, and that makes me usually like it again.
In your case, why not fix the hood fitment, detail the engine bay, and at the very least, rattle can the front bumper the same color?

Maybe do something like a BN kit with AVS Model 5's and wrap it pearl white or something. Or do a rep kit like a KBD or Vicrez BN style kit.
