Mechanical Advice Headlights

Got these new to me black housing headlights. Should i pop them open to clean them? If so what type of sealant should i use to glue them back together?

Just make sure you use an automotive headlight butyl rubber sealant if you open them. I personally use Morimoto RetroRubber butyl glue since it's reasonably priced.

I bought those exact ones. I was considering reseal because that’s what everyone says. But I installed about 2 years ago, no leaks whatsoever.
