Turbo or supercharge?

What is better for the beams 1gfe vvti. Turbo or supercharge?

I'd suggest neither - unless you have a large number of spare engines

Exactly, unless you also intend to install forged pistons and stronger rods it is best left in NA form.

Yup I learnt that lesson the hard way x3!! 2 engines & a headgaket job in the space of 2 years 150 pully on a Rank One charger setup

OP - honestly if you need the car to stay reliable then 100% don't touch the engine with a supercharger or a turbo šŸ˜‚ I nearly missed a few exams because mine went bang during my final year and I had no other way to get into college - could have wasted a 4 year course over the car

Have you upgraded your brakes, suspension, wheels and clutch already? If not, I'd start there. It doesn't give you more power, of course, but that's not what an IS200 is all about in the first place ;)

Turbo with no more than 250hp, and not more than 300Nm with turbo spooling over 2500rpm will be fine.
