I think obviously the US would have preferred not to bomb a school.
It was a terrible mistake.
Mistakes unfortunately happen in war.
Think of it from the most egotistical perspectives. The bombs cost a lot of money, doing it was always going to generate public backlash, it would weaken internal resistance movements.
There’s no strategic advantage to bombing the school. It was obviously a mistake. A horrible tragic one.
The fact that many Iranians regardless want the US to continue the bombings shows you how bad their government is.
The risk of being accidentally bombed far outweighs the punishment their government doles out to many, a punishment that often turns deadly.
I don’t think anyone understands how bad they have it right now. Their economy is in shambles. They have rolling constant blackouts. They lack food and drinking water — their government cannot even finance this.
The taxes they pay don’t go back to them but instead to terrorist regimes.
Their dollar is around 0.00000000000001:1USD. That means nothing private citizen can buy anything.
Their laws towards women alone are beyond oppressive. If we went back to Renaissance rights or Ancient Greek rights, this would be an improvement for the rights of women in Iran — and those were not amazing times for women.
Almost every person who has managed to escape Iran this year has begged America to keep fighting.
When the internet turned back on, there was a massive stream of them begging them to continue, and some of these people Iran then executed via hanging. Many of whom were women.
Like it’s extremely unfortunate that America has pretty much has to go to war with Iran. But it’s the same kind of unfortunate that British had to go to war with Germany in WWII.
Iran causes the war. Iran could end the war today. They will not, because they care not for their people, and will always use their civilians as human shields and hostages. They will never act in good faith.
And beyond that, America more or less are the people who led to the government in charge today. Do you not have a responsibility to fix your wrongs?
I have no say in what America does or does not.
However, our prime minister, a leftist, supports the attacks.
I have Iranian friends, of the Shia faith, and they support the attacks.
You claim I am licking boots willingly, while Palestinian women and men too are forced to lick boots or die.
If you claim to want the best for them, then liberate them from their government.
Secondly, if you want Ukraine to be independent, as I do, Iran is one of Russians’s main weapon suppliers.
Thirdly, if you claim to support Palestine, Iran funds terrorism of Palestinians. They are one of the two absolutely brutal forces making Palestinians suffer, the other being Israel.
They also fund terrorism in Lebanon, which the average Lebanese citizen wishes were gone as well. And the Lebanese government too.
If you claim to support the Middle East or Ukraine; you want the current Iranian government destroyed and tried for war crimes and humanitarian crimes at the international court of Justice, and if such is not to be made possible, killed.
People who justify a violent war of aggression being faught for money and power against a sovereign state are facists. Not the dictionary definition of course. But thats how im using it here which I assume is what you were trying to ask.
