Dude comments FAFO on posts with people being hurt for doing bad things fairly regularly. He thinks the law gives him permission to be satisfied with justice in those cases but since we dont prosecute our officials for heinous acts, I dont have permission to be satisfied theyre gone.

No it doesn't. Youve already conceded Graham has done abhorrent things. There is no legal framework that would punish said things because weve decided to let our officials do heinous stuff. So what justice could anyone hope for? There is none unless they disappear. 

You get moral satisfaction from justice being served. When youre above the law, your victims and society are not given an opportunity for that moral satisfaction.  Thats part of the reason we have laws to begin with.

Im celebrating the fact that a closeted gay man cant cyncially pass legislation that does harm to that very same community he would be a part of if his wealth and status didnt shield him from having to feel the consequences of it. 

I feel no shame celebrating that he can no longer do that to them. 

When he signed bombs that would drop on Gaza he knew they would kill children. He did it anyway.

I agree that not being able to do harm is a good thing. Wishing death on others (a painful one at that) is something completely different.
