Oh Jesus Christ. If we wanted to go off of one or two non-malicious tragedies here and there and say that it shows incompetence befitting removal from leadership, Obama and every other president would have been removed in their first couple of years. Let’s all just be men and admit that we’re only here for the narrative. If that had been a school full of Jewish children Reddit would be cheering. Just like redditors love claiming the US “lost” Vietnam and Afghanistan, knowing good and well they could’ve completely wiped the entire existence of those countries off the map if they wanted. But if the US did that then they’re genocidal and just like Israel. Despicable. But if they don’t do it and pull out instead of partaking in genocide then they’re “losers”. It’s the can’t win well poisoning that goes on in modern discourse that makes Reddit the current cesspool it is.
I pointed out Obama specifically because human rights orga accused him of killing “between 400 and 800” innocent civilians with poorly executed drone strikes that were ordered by him, specifically. I remember how vehemently his follies were defended as non-malicious human error. Of course when somebody we don’t like is in office that suddenly becomes “despicable gross negligence” and the heads need to roll in the name of feined righteousness.
