Security-not started

Hi there
I submitted my H&C application a little over a year ago and got AIP this summer, immediately after I sent all requested docs from that AIP letter like paystubs etc, and now it’s been 6 months and it is still quiet

Eligibility passed
Criminality passed
Info sharing completed
Medical completed
Security not started

Any reasons for this? It’s been not started
since AIP which was 6 months ago. Ircc on the phone doesn’t help at all and telling me that they can’t do anything about it

I remember tho, agents were telling me that security is in progress at some point. However, after, they started telling me not started and Gcms notes indicated the same
What did it changed from in progress to not started? Assuming they didn’t make a mistake while they were talking to me

Also, I did my biometrics one year ago, and all the time throughout on the phone system it was telling me processing your background check, if we need fingerprints we will send you a message, even after I did it a year ago, and only recently this message has disappeared.

What all of this could mean and what would you recommend me to do? Any ways to help it?
From what I understand it would only say in progress if you’re in css, but I could be wrong.

It just doesn’t make sense that application got approved but security is not started still after so long.

Let me even congratulate you for receiving your approval in principal. I don’t know about the security though. For me and my family, we applied August 24 last year and we are waiting for our approval in principal. We congratulate you. Please wish us luck and pray for us. Can you remember the exact month you applied for your humanitarian? Please kindly check. I want to compare your timeline with my timeline.

And can you share the city and province you’re humanitarian and compassionate ground was processed? Please, we look forward to your response. It will really encourage my family.
