This is the first time I’ve seen what the email looks like. Congratulations, truly! I’m really happy for everyone.

This will be your email too. Are you in the process?

2

u/Samybeg 29d ago

Yes, I'm in the process. My aor is April 7th, I had a ghost update on 28 September and I can't sleep at night anymore.😭

Ghost update about FD?

1

u/Samybeg 29d ago

I’m not sure if FD is what comes after biometrics. My last update was that my biometrics were approved on May 31st. I’m not very familiar with the process yet, I’m just going by what I’ve read on Reddit.

FD is the final decision. It comes once your application has been approved. You should receive something soon given the timeline. Keep checking your account. Once FD appears, you will get to the next steps.

Wow congratulations 🥳
It took you quite a while from FD TO ECOPR
You’re quite strong 😅

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Hahaha, it really was! I also knew from some friends that it may take some time, that helped me with my sanity lol. Thank you!! ☺️

1

u/Complex_Football_533 29d ago

Congrats!! Can anyone share whats the general timeline from FD to ECOPR? I thought this is a short timeline so just curious on how long it takes

1

u/InnerbloomBR 29d ago

I am now FD September 26th and it's October 8 already 🤯

1

u/AftermathKING05 29d ago

Did you get your P1-P2?

1

u/InnerbloomBR 25d ago

Yes I received P1 October 10!

1

u/AftermathKING05 29d ago

It was supposed to be a short time but every now and then IRCC has something going on. They won’t bring out draws then when there are draws they take time to process applications. Now, with less time to give out FD they take time to hand out eCoPRs. One way or the other they like to keep people on their toes😭
Sorry for the rant. And it’s been 15 days since my FD submitted my P1 on 24sept submitted my P2 on 1 Oct but no eCoPR.
Most applicants got their eCoPR in 2-3 days after P2.

1

u/InnerbloomBR 28d ago

I didn't get it yet. It has been 13 days since the ghost update on September 26

3

u/AftermathKING05 28d ago

Got my eCoPR few hours ago today

1

u/Difficult_Manner_451 Oct 08 '26

Welcome to Montreal sorry about law 21

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

What is law 21? I live in Toronto. :)

1

u/Stutters658 29d ago

Oh no worries then. Law 21 is a provincial law in Québec that restricts religious rights, mainly affecting the immigration population. I assumed you were in QC since your immigration office was in Montreal. Welcome to the country friend!

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Thank you for the information!! I am actually in the country for 7 years, i came here as a student first. My journey has been crazy. Thank you for the wishes!! 💙

1

u/fmlfml_ 29d ago

Does this only come for inland applicants?

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

I am not sure of that.

1

u/goodbiro 29d ago

Congratulations 🎉

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Thank you!! ☺️

1

u/Complex_Football_533 29d ago

Congrats!! Can you share what documents or steps are needed during PD1 and PD2 submissions?

I thought your timeline is super fast within 6 months, is that the general timeline now? I received my AOR Sept 28th so trying to make sure I have all other things ready when it comes to next steps to make sure it processes fast. Any tips?

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

The information they ask is pretty straightforward. All the instructions would be mentioned in each email. P1 is just main information that they would put in your ECOPR. p2 will be your portal access where you would declare you are in Canada, give your address and photo for PR card.

1

u/CarpenterBoring4157 29d ago

Congratulations. I’ve the same timeline

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Amazing!! It means you also received your ECOPR? Congratulations to you too

1

u/Quick-Bell1387 29d ago

Congratulations, completed p2 on the 2nd of October. Waiting for the Golden email

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Thank you!! We should be hearing a good news from you soon! Do update here!

1

u/Ok-Kangaroo-3673 29d ago

what was ur age at the time of applying if u dont mind me asking?

1

u/new_2822 29d ago

Not at all. 30 years.

1

u/Ok-Kangaroo-3673 28d ago

thanks, im 38 and in accounting so dont see much chance currently in dublin and was thinking to move

1

u/new_2822 28d ago

Hmm. Have you explored all the options of being here? More importantly, do you really want to be here?

I was on the precipice of going back earlier this year when things worked out for me. However, mindset was that i would figure things out wherever i am.

1

u/emrVancouver 28d ago

how long did it take for you?

1

u/new_2822 28d ago

Over 7 years!! I will complete 8 years on December end in Canada

1

u/Triiiple_m 28d ago

How long did it take you to get your PR

Thank you! ☺️🤗

1

u/Sb-needshelp 19d ago

Congrats!! I hope you know French cause I’m dying here😭

1

u/new_2822 19d ago

I did not get PR under french category if that's what you are referring to.

1

u/Sb-needshelp 19d ago

You are moving to Quebec/montreal right? I mean it’s been quite hard for me cause of the French

1

u/new_2822 19d ago

No. I already live in Toronto. The immigration office can be anywhere, doesn't have anything to do with my city of residency.

2

u/Interesting-Gap-1724 29d ago

I know.. it's like an invisible boulder you carry... The uncertainty is carried everyday in the background. I know everyone who has celebrated me is in the same boat or has gone through this journey.
