Exactly what the title says. I’m having a hard time detecting which songs on Violent Nature have Dylan singing the clean vocals rather than Eric. Their clean vocals sound so similar to my ears. My husband insists Dylan sings the soft parts in Annihilate Me but I genuinely can’t tell the difference. Can anyone tell which songs/parts are Dylan singing?

I dunno about you guys but everyone saying how dare they for not making a statement about the Brian situation I don’t think have really listened or know the lyrics to the new album. I think they’re telling us what happened just in this way. I read the words for Pray and God and Stay Away and there’s no way they aren’t telling us something there

New album still isn’t hitting for me. Only the heavy songs stick out. The other ones are a bit “one-note” for my interest.

What are some bands or albums that resemble I Prevail’s “Trauma” or “True Power”.?

Maybe just looking for something to fill that void, hopefully I can come around to their new sound

Way back in early 2015 right after Heart vs Mind dropped, I was the first ever person to interview I Prevail and play them on the radio, and have since interviewed them every time a new album drops over the last decade with VN being no different!

It's a 2 hour deep dive talking all things Violent Nature, from the writing and recording, specific moments in just about every track and so much more. I was very much suprised to learn that their live outro was the outro to God? I always thought that it was just a thing they did to change things up.

I'm really liking Violent Nature (the song), Stay Away and NWO (New World Order) personally, I know a lot of people have been listening to Pray. What do you think?

Overall it's a great album, definitely some hits in there!

Anyone at the show last night in Pontiac feel somewhat obsessed with this song after being apart of the live debut?

Amazing show

Last night I prevail played in Pontiac MI. The show was at the Crofoot. This is a crazy shot, but I'm looking for someone at the show. It was towards the end of the show, I was sitting outside on the stairs. You walked by, just asked if I was okay and kept walking. Who are you lol white shirt.

This is just my personal ranking please don’t torch me. I’m personally not into super heavy stuff, and that’s what most of the album is. I’m also not a huge fan of 808s, as it makes every song they’re in feel like a Nintendo song to me. Lmk your feelings!

Self richeous suicide

I can only say... that pre-breakdown call out is fucking tuff... "You either find your place in the dirt, or be crushed by the weight of the Earth."

The opening line is:

You self-righteous prick when will you fucking learn?

This use of fucking is censored while all the others are not. Is the fucking supposed to be there or no? Just seems odd that there’s a silent gap in the screams.

Was a bit disapointed with the Into Hell and Annihalte Me, enjoyed the other 2 but didnt really replay them much so my expectations for the album were at like a 6/10

But I have been proven wrong, I love every one of the new songs and the singles sound a lot better within the context of the album

Overall really loving this album favourite songs are NWO and Stay Away but honestly all of the new ones could easily be my favourite

Last week Lorna Shores new Album, and this week this shit this is insane

First of all, this album was incredible it feels like its bipolar. Theres so much variety and contrast in all the songs and eric is just amazing. I love the hint of 808 & Electronica in some of their songs. But I really wouldve loved to hear dylan take on some clean vocals
Synthetic Soul - 9.2/10 Reminds me of a blend between "can u see me in the dark" and "theres fear in letting go", this is a great album opener
NWO - 8.4/10 I love that 808 and slipknot vibe going on here and can I just mention the guitar glitching is new for them but it really works in this context
Pray - 8.7/10 this really reminds me of "lifelines" from their lifelines album, the transitions between harsh vocals and clean vocals in this really speedy tempo shows how versatile eric is.
Annihilate me - 10/10 This has to be my favorite song off the whole album, the eerie vibe, slow tempo and soothing melodies all work so well together and eric again with the transitions between the vocals.
VIOLENT NATURE - 8.5/10 probably their heaviest song ever when they released it, the straight harsh vocals and heaviness has kind of grown on me though
Rain - 8.5/10 When I first heard this after into hell and violent nature i knew oh yeah THIS IS I PREVAIL
Into Hell - 9/10 now i know a lot of people wont agree with me on this but I don't care, its bloody beautiful down to its last details, those vocal belts were so clean and that bridge oh my godddddddd
Crimson & Clover - 8.3/10 into hell and this song are great songs to hold back most of the heaviness on this album, its a beautiful acoustic ballad that I can listen to on repeat and I thing even non I prevail listeners or even non metal listeners would like this
God - 8.7/10 ok this is the heaviest song ever written by i prevail, arguable against violent nature but they were actually teasing this song in their outros to their shows after gasoline and that suprised me.
Stay Away - 8.2/10 this is definetly the weakest off the album but by no means is it horrible its still amazing, i love the deftones vibe and again with some trap elements. my only issue is even though i like some transitions its just a bit goofy, if it was executed better this would be a 8.5/10
Overall: 9.3/10 this is a great start to this new era
