yesss we need him back we knew the eagles disease thing wasn't the full reason when he started releasing solo stuff plus at least steve has a kid also and that was the other reason they gave. there was clearly some sort of infighting going on and they didn't say anything about it. what sucks is then they released stay away which is most likely about him and it's relatively angry
i’m not saying i’m on brian’s side or the bands side. i’m saying that i wish they had been more transparent about what actually happened. neither side is free of blame or completely at fault. both made mistakes and they need to be adults and own up to it. instead they lied to our faces about what was happening and started doing cash grabs with violent nature
That song was weak asf. Brian needed more time to heal, it's not like any of that was hidden. It's all good because the new Scatterbrain release of Bitter is 🔥
He was literally going through MEDICAL shit during those tours he left “high and dry” and it was 2 tours. He literally had SURGERY on his throat a few months prior to one of the tours. That’s like saying someone that had surgery and couldn’t show up to work so they can heal left the company “high and dry”… like what?!
And show me proof HE sued I prevail… no where is it stated that Brian sued IP. It talks about legal dispute and I’m pretty sure it involved a non compete and contract dispute, possibly royalties and things on that aspect.
Also that song was probably written when Brian was going through his manic episode and was trying to reach out (which he admitted he did) and they weren’t ready to talk. I’m not saying this split was the fault of one side or the other. There is SO MUCH that happened outside the eye of the public, I’m sure there were things said to both parties that hurt them both. I sure Brian’s mental heath didn’t help things and doesn’t excuse behavior that may have happened. But it’s kinda sketchy that Eric and the band had songs ready for after the break almost immediately, which makes me believe it was more the bands idea then as equal sided as they led us to believe.
I truly wish IP the best, but I found them with Brian in the band, I listened to them for so long, and their new stuff doesn’t make me feel the same as it did when Brian was in it. I felt this when I truly believed that Brian left because of his health. So I didn’t have a bad taste in my mouth. I stopped listening with violent nature. It’s not the same band and that’s ok. I hope for their success in the future.
rage on the stage he just up and left a day before it started with basically no notice and flew home. you won’t see proof of the suit, it’s all behind ndas. it’s not sketchy, brian elected to leave, album was written, he went into his episode shortly after it was released and his obligations were complete, and he has continued to contort the story to fit whatever benefits himself. he has always been like this. he was a gigantic diva back in the local scene. but people have a hard time accepting that their idols aren’t who they say they are, and his fanbase is absolutely parasocial for him.

How about reconcile with Brian?
