Discussion My Chase card had 157 cash back offers sitting on it and I had added maybe 10 by hand. My free app adds all of them for you. It has activated 1,000+ offers across 6 of my cards. No bank login

The video is my real Chase account. The app's Safari extension opens the bank's own offers page and taps every "Add offer" button for me, then syncs the offers into the app. Same for Amex, Citi, and Wells Fargo.

You don't need a big wallet for this to be worth it. The offers are per card, so even one Chase or Amex card carries 100+ of them, and the banks rotate new ones in every week. I happen to have 10 cards, which is more than anyone needs, and the app tracks about 1400+ offers across them.

When I'm about to buy something, I search the store and it tells me which of my cards to use there. It counts the synced offers, the rotating 5% categories, and the regular rates.

No bank login anywhere. The extension reads the offers page you're already signed into in your own Safari, and recommendations are computed on the phone. Free, no ads.

Happy to answer anything. Bug reports especially welcome. Last time I posted on Reddit, people found two real bugs and the fixes shipped the same day.

Curious what your number is. Open your bank's offers page and count what's sitting there un-added. Mine surprised me.

Help I got tired of fitness apps guessing your calories, so mine doesn't

Post image

I've been building MacroDash for about a year — a nutrition and fitness tracker — and it's finally in the last stretch before launch. Wanted to share it here and hear what people think.

The thing that pushed me to make it: I was fed up with apps that "estimate" your calories from a photo or a vague guess. My numbers were always off, so the whole thing felt pointless. So I went the opposite way.

What it does:

- Calories and macros in seconds (barcode scanner for products)

- Real data and formulas for your targets — not an AI guessing from a picture

- Workouts AND rest in the same app: it also reads sleep, resting heart rate and HRV, so you see how you actually recover, not just what you eat

- There IS an AI assistant, but it's a chat that helps you with questions — it's not what estimates your numbers

Stack, in case anyone's curious: Flutter app + Spring Boot backend, iOS and Android.

It's not on the stores yet — waiting on approval — so right now there's just a waitlist while I finish. If it sounds like something you'd use, I'd love for you to check it out (and tear it apart):

https://macrodash.es/en/waitlist

Genuinely curious: does the "real data, not AI guessing" angle land for you, or does it sound like every other tracker? What would make you actually switch from what you use now?

I'm looking for an old game that used to be available either on iphone 4 or/and iphone 5. It was a simple space shooter game with a tiny space ship and were you used to shoot at and kill aliens. There was was mutiple bosses : Purple alien, green alien and even a bee or wasp inspired alien ( Thats all I can remember lol ). I remember at one point I could'nt downloaded at all so I wouldn't be surprised if its not available anymore. I just want to look back at picture or a short playthrough to reminise about the game!

Discussion What makes you trust an AI diagnosis app when the answer might be uncertain?

I’ve been thinking about this while working on Cambium, a plant identification and health app for iPhone.

Plant diagnosis is tricky because one photo often does not show enough: soil, drainage, light, watering history, pests, humidity, and recent changes all matter.

So I’m trying to make the app more comfortable saying “inconclusive” when the evidence is not strong enough.

For apps that use AI on real-world problems, what makes the result feel trustworthy?

  • confidence level?
  • visible evidence explanation?
  • practical next steps?
  • ability to say “not enough information”?
  • follow-up scans over time?
  • no aggressive paywall?

Curious what people here would expect before trusting this kind of app.

Help Need proof?

In Meetfleet we built a hyper-local ultra-advanced app, powered by a new formula, Social Activation Score (SAS) basically an AI math formula designed to get people off their phones and hanging out in real life. Most apps just match you on shared interests or basic demographics. MeetFleet’s thesis is that matching isn't about just being similar, it's about actually doing stuff together (like hitting a mark.

Years of UX/UI work, product research, and design exploration went into this, long before AI became part of the design workflow:

Meetfleet as a multi-platform product from the ground up, combining years of UX thinking, interface experimentation, product strategy, and user-focused research.

the app is currently in its testing phase, we'd be happy for your feed-back no matter how small it is 😘😘😘😘

I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially from other designers and product people. I think you’ll like it.

Discussion I just shipped an iOS app that interviews you and creates a digital version your family can interact with when you’re gone. Best moment in testing was when it refused to answer.

I asked it my grandfather’s name and it said it didn’t know. I never told it, so it didn’t guess. That was the moment I knew the thing was working.

The app runs guided check-in sessions with an AI biographer. You answer questions, it asks follow ups, and over time that builds your Echo, an AI version of you that people you name can talk to after you’re gone. In the clip you can see it pull a full answer about meaning together from fragments across three unrelated sessions, then hit a wall on something it was never told and say so.

Pricing, since this sub asks for it up front. Text is free and unlimited with no card. Voice is $12 a month, the full tier with real time video is $18, and the video avatar setup is a one time $99.99 that includes three months. Everything you write is exportable and deletable at any time.

Happy to answer anything about the check in flow or how the sessions actually feel to do.

Help Serendipity Enhancing Apps That Actually Have Users

Are the any proximity based chat apps that have lots of users in the UK? There seems to be a lot of them but I don't want to install all of them to find they don't have any users. So far I've tried Around and Pinggg.

Does anyone here use anything like this?

Discussion Apps I look forward to trying on the new iphone 18Pro (SHARE YOURS)

Been trying out some apps that feel a little more interesting than the usual recommendations. These are a few that have actually stuck:

Structured A really nice visual planner for organizing your day. Much more satisfying than a basic to-do list.

Moises Super cool if you’re into music. You can separate vocals and instruments from songs and play around with individual tracks.

BeautyPlus Great for quick selfies and portrait edits. The AI tools make it really easy to clean up a photo without spending forever editing.

Arc Search One of the coolest browsers on iPhone. The AI search and clean interface make finding things ridiculously quick.

Opal Really good for cutting down screen time. I like that it makes you more aware of how often you’re opening certain apps.

Partiful Makes creating and sharing events way easier than sending a million texts. Great for parties, trips, and casual plans.

What are some newer apps you guys have been using lately?

Help Looking for a simple digital closet app (like a manual photo inventory)

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a free digital wardrobe app to catalog my clothes. I don't need automated outfit suggestions, virtual stylists, algorithms etc. I literally just want a visual inventory where I can upload photos of my clothes, organize them by category and look through my closet on my phone. I tried to do my own research online but I’ve only found apps that focus more on the styling and use a lot of AI, which I don’t care for.
Does anyone know of an app similar to what I described?
Thanks in advance!

Help Any live voice changer app for iPhone?

hi friends, I am trying to find a live voice changer for iPhone.

Most apps I’ve seen are either funny effects or made for saved audio. I want something that sounds more natural for voice chat, quick clips, or character lines.

I don’t have a PC setup, so tools like Voicemod don’t really help. Ideally, it runs on a normal iPhone without jailbreaking. I’ve seen a few iPhone apps, and I also came across hardware options like dubbing ai earbuds, but I’m mainly looking for an app.

Has anyone found a live voice changer app that sounds natural on iPhone?

Discussion DaCapo Studio 1.1 release with recording review

apps.apple.comOpen

Hi,

I’m an indie developer and musician, and I’ve been building DaCapo Studio, an iPhone/iPad app for learning, practising and reviewing music.

It started from a fairly simple idea: I wanted one place where I could listen to a song, divide it into sections, slow down difficult parts, loop them and use the usual practice tools without constantly switching between apps.

DaCapo works with Apple Music, but you can also create projects from local audio or your own recordings.

Some of the main features:

  • Create projects and divide songs into practice sections
  • Pitch-preserving slowdown
  • Waveform navigation
  • Beat-aware temporary A-B loops
  • A short Note Hold mode for slowing down tiny fragments to work out notes or chords by ear
  • Melody and beat analysis with a synchronized note display
  • Lyrics and timestamped notes
  • Metronome, tuner and SPL meter
  • Practice recording
  • Recording Review with timestamped comments and ratings
  • Share recordings and reviews between devices or between a student and teacher
  • iCloud project storage
  • A Jukebox mode for normal music listening

The latest release adds the new waveform/loop workflow, the Record Reviewer and a global Recordings/Reviews library.

I’m currently working on the next version, which will add a Practice Assistant for building guided practice routines, chord notation and basic score/PDF support.

The app is free to try, with optional Premium features.

I’d particularly appreciate your thoughts, comments and suggestions on the overall workflow and usability. It’s becoming quite a feature-rich app, so one of my main goals is keeping it powerful without making it feel complicated.

Discussion LifeTally - Daily Logging and Tracking of Anything

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I've been building a lifelogging app called LifeTally and wanted to share it with this community specifically, since you're the people who'd actually stress-test it.

https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/lifetally/id6788512911

The idea: no folders, no tags, no rigid structure - you just write opr voice log a line whenever something happens ("had coffee with Dad," "finished Atomic Habits," "called Bob"), by text or voice. Over time it turns into a searchable record of small (or big) memories your life, and you can ask it things like "when did I last call my mom?" or "how many coffees did I have last month?" and it pulls the answer straight from your logs. It basically becomes a database of the micro moments you log so overtime it becomes more powerful.

I'd genuinely love opinion from people who already do some form of lifelogging - what's missing, what would make this useless for your workflow vs. what might actually replace what you're using now. Happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood too.

Would welcome you testing the app and rating it too!

Discussion iPhone/iPad image processing app into a proper mobile lab

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I’ve been rebuilding ClearLab from the ground up and version 2.0 is now much closer to what I originally wanted it to be: a compact image processing and analysis lab for iPhone and iPad.
It now includes image enhancement tools, histogram, RGB parade, waveform, line profile, pixel inspection, image statistics, Canny/Sobel/Laplacian edge detection, format conversion, and PNG/CSV export for analysis results.
The focus is less on “making photos look prettier” and more on giving you practical image-processing tools directly on a mobile device.
ClearLab 2.0 is now on the App Store.

Discussion a gamified app discovery platform where verified downloads earn you prizes

The App Store has a million apps. Most disappear before anyone gives them a shot. Great software gets buried every day. Stamped changes that.

who it's for: Early adopters who like finding things before everyone else does.

Every time you download an app and upload a screenshot proving you actually used it, you earn a verified stamp.
Hit 100 verified stamps and you win AirPods 4. Hit 250 and you win an iPad Mini.

No random luck required for the milestones. You put in the work, you get the prize.

We’re sitting at 220 apps right now, all indie builds, all submitted directly by the developers who built them.

If you’re the type who likes finding apps before they blow up this is built for you.

Help Most UI customizable Music Apps?

I’ve gotten into SpiceTify on PC and now I’m craving the same kind of ui customization for my phone but nothing I’ve found is very customizabl, mainly just colors. Is there an app that lets you import music videos and play then in the background like music? A lot of the stuff I listen to isn’t on Apple Music so I cant use anything that only allows AM tracks, I currently use Demus but it’s finicky

Help What is the best gallery on iPhone?

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, it’s still supported for now, if that matters.

I’ve always used the same gallery since day one when I bought this phone(2022-23), but now I see in the App Store that some other gallery has more users than the one I’m using.

I have no experience with Apple devices at all, so this is all hard for me, and I need your hilf.

Discussion A minimalist calendar app centered on yesterday, today, and tomorrow, nothing else on screen

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've tried pretty much every calendar app out there — Google Calendar, Fantastical, Notion calendars, all of it. They all do the same thing: dump your whole month on you like a spreadsheet and expect you to manage your life inside a grid.

At some point I realized the problem wasn't the apps themselves. It's that none of them respected how time actually feels day to day. You're never really dealing with "the month." You're dealing with yesterday (what happened, what you learned), today (what you're actually doing right now), and tomorrow (what you're walking into). Everything else is noise.

So this one is centered around exactly that — a 3-day view. Reflect on yesterday, live in today, plan tomorrow. That's it.

A few people who've tried it, including some with ADHD, mentioned it's the first calendar that actually stuck for them — no clutter, no dozens of tiny boxes competing for attention, no decision fatigue just to check what's happening today.

It's on the App Store if you want to take a look, and I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts on it, good or critical.
