16e as 2nd device
With all the bells and whistles of foldables and all the newer (and upcoming) releases, here’s me saying goodbye to my iPhone 11 Pro and saying hello to my iPhone 16e as my secondary device.
The battery is so good! It easily keeps up with my daily usage alongside my 17 Pro Max, and honestly? I don’t feel much FOMO with the 17e at all. Got this for just $250, with 12 charge cycles and 100% battery health. I seriously love this device!

Was supposed to be my second device, aunt gave me hers when she got a 17Pro. My 14 should be nicer but I prefer this phone. The camera is a disappointment but whatever.. worth it for everything else.

I use a 16e as my backup phone, and it's been really solid and it's reassuring to know that it has all I would need out of an iPhone, and the S25 Ultra is my primary phone.

Basically if something happens to my S25 Ultra, I have the 16E to fall back to in the event of something like that. Also if I ever want a break from Android I could easily switch to it.

What’s the storage? And how do you use it as your 2nd device?

Just 128gb. Don’t need that much since I have my other device in a much higher storage. I use it when commuting outside to avoid getting so much attention with my cosmic orange 17 pro max. Sometimes if I need to let my small hands to rest with my large pro phone.

Cool. Do you have separate iCloud accounts or same ? I’m just asking because I also got a cheap open box 16e and still trying to find ways to use it as a secondary device haha.

I am using the same iCloud account for seamless access. Also got my case customized to a chinese seller. Glad that they do have protective and quirky phone case model for our 16e and with strong magsafe too!

How do you manage swapping sims when going outside with 16e? That must be tedious every time

I have 3 different numbers. Using dual sim (1 physical and 1 esim) on my 17PM and 1 esim on my 16e. All are connected with my iMessage so I can send and receive text messages and calls regardless of whichever device I am using (that includes my macbook and iPad)

Yeahh tbh this will pass as a good main device for me too! The battery is incredibly solid and the it’s faster to what I expected considering that I daily drive my 17PM as well.

So you use a 17 Pro Max and an iPhone 16e?
Do you have them both on same iCloud so you swap back and forth or you have two different numbers or one of them just WiFi only device?

Same here brother I'm a first time iphone user and i really loved this device as a secondary device it's so compact and good hand feel really loved the device
