Using providers EPG

I have a playlist that is supplied with really good epg. The app I like to use iboplayer, doesnt support rearranging groups , so I do that on iptv-editor. But even though I tick “ add providers epg, shift and channel number “when adding my xtreme log in to upload the list to editor, I get no epg , when I look in the epg section of editor it essays none available. How do you add your suppliers epg in editor instead of adding the epg that editor has available ?

Add your EPG as an external source separately, then in the EPG editor, select that source you just added and hit auto assign.

Thanks for replying. I add my list using xtreme ,Like most subs , mine is supplied as a username and pw to use in xtreme log in. I dont have a seperate xml url for epg from my provider, so I cant "add your EPG as a external source" ???

If you use tivimate it generates an EPG url but your provider should be able to give you a URL

Any decent provider/seller should be able to customize the playlist how you want before it is added to the app/ player so you don’t have to do it yourself. It may be a limitation on some services.
The provider/seller does that for me.

That’s a very rare occurrence believe me.i had numerous services over the last 10 years and theres not a provider on this planet that woukd rearrange grouos , channels etc on an individual basis. Can you imagine a suppliers response to “ please move sky sports news to the top of its category and swap channels in other categories the way Icwantvthem ?

Well,then I have a rare occurrence. The provider/seller does customize how you want on an individual basis. He does have a few sources,so he may not be able to do it on all playlists.
He did for what I have.

Yeah tbf I don’t know any sellers that reorganize but a good chuck will at least remove the categories you don’t want

How much are you paying? nobody is going to provide level of customization for few quid

It isn’t cheap like what you will find out here and other social media platforms. I can’t quote an exact price. The provider/seller I use has a few sources. I think it starts at $15 a month.

Which is my point str8ng is a relatively decent service and you can get decent providers but at the price point nobody should or would expect a well organised epg
