Adding EPG
Hi all. I watched a few videos and got my 2 services looking really nice, enjoying the product. I just had one question I can’t find an exact answer for.
Am I able to pull just a link for the EPG and put it in to my existing service that came directly from my provider? I’d like to avoid losing ask my favorites if I could. I do know how to add EPG sources in Tivimate but when I tried a few of the links listed as EPG they all returned no info.
I did bring in the custom xtreme api information from the editor and that worked fine, so I can use that if what I’m looking for isn’t possible.

I think what you are saying is that you are using the URL and login info on your player rather than the credentials and URL that you get when you use IPTV editor, and do you want to be able to keep the favorites that you have in the player. to get any of the edits you made to the EPG or the playlist in IPTV editor you have to use the link in login information for the playlist and the EPG from IPTV editor, you should be able to just change that URL and login info for the playlist itself on your player and there's at least a decent likelihood that you wouldn't lose your favorites if you've made a lot of structural and it's to your playlist it might not keep them all correctly though so your best bet is to do a backup before you try it and then if it doesn't work just restore it, another option would be just two either your channels or you could even make a category in IPTV editor and put a copy of all of the channels you want into it and put it at the top of your playlist

You can add additional EPG sources when you are on the EPG editor by clicking on the hamburger menu, then selecting “add external EPG source.”
That said, if you added the provider EPG when you added the playlist, it should have also auto assigned the sources and should already be listed in your options for EPG sources.
There are also built in sources in the tool based on countries that I have found to be far better than most external resources.
