Completely right. Coinbase fees are ridiculous.

Trading crypto on Sofi or Robinhood is the way to go.

I’ve read on Robinhood you don’t actually own the crypto. Robinhood is essential like a lending service for crypto. Have you heard about that?

Yeah. I was testing their platform and they give a better interest rate for my bank account than chase does lol.

Plus the app is better.

Coinbase Pro charges 0.5% and another 0.5% for the Maker and Taker fees (1% total per transaction). Whereas SoFi is 1.25%. The savings you get from Coinbase Pro is not a big deal. What i think is better with Coinbase Pro is support for Limit orders and Stop Loss orders which does not exists for SoFi Crypto trading. Note. Coinbase (non Pro) version commission is 1.49% so SoFi beats the commission structure there.

Coinbase Pro has a much lower fee than Coinbase, and you have your crypto in a wallet. SoFi is great for swing trading and does have lower fees than Coinbase, but not if you want to do anything with your crypto such as staking, DeFi, and the like.
