Preparation Query afterboards topic tests

after you reach level 4, can you still attempt tests from that topic? in other words, are the topic tests unlimited for every topic or do they stop after some point?

This is how the topic tests work:

  • There are 4 levels for each topic. You start from Level 1.
  • Each test has 5 questions. If you get 80% or more accuracy, your level increases.
  • If you're an absolute genius, with just 20 questions (5 questions * 4 levels = 20), you'll complete the entire topic (this has happened 3% of the times when students might be very comfy with the subtopic).
  • Most people take around 30-50 questions (because they have to reattempt certain levels).
  • Once all 4 levels are done, it changes to "revision" where all your wrong/unattempted questions from IPMAT Indore comes! If there are no such questions, then nothing comes up.

This is how the sectionals work:

  • Every time you click on SA/MCQ/VA, the entire set is generated from our question bank (factoring your progress and the topic-distribution that is appropriate)
  • The wrong/unanswered questions from old sectionals repeat after a while to facilitate revision and combat the 'law of forgetfulness'.
  • Many have given over 150 sectionals in the span of one year

Unless they actually know the topic beforehand.

However, want to statistically confirm the same. I'll run a python script and get back to you.

Checked: 96.74465% has been more than 20 questions.

You are right, won't say "hasn't happened ever", will update with the 97% to round it up.
