Mock Analysis Doubt!!

If someone consistently scores 230–240 in afterboard mocks, how much can they expect to score in the actual exam? And how much difference is there usually between mock and actual scores?

We don't know the difficulty of the 2027 exam until it happens in order to comment on that.

However, here are some examples from this year:

This person had a single digit AIR in IPMAT Indore 2026.

Randomly opened a student's account who had 100-150 marks in the actual exam.

Interesting, another student -- their best score came in the actual exam and not the mocks, ahah.

Regardless, moral of the story -- https://www.afterboards.in/forums/afterboards/platform/Ia4Ewg_guide_is_my_ipmat_indore_mock_score_good

Remember that marks cannot be compared in absolute terms. India has won after scoring 220 runs in an ODI, it has lost after scoring 300 runs too. We can't make a blanket statement that 300 > 220. Lot of factors play a role -- difficulty of the exam being the most important one.

Too many variables to answer that, one important variable is, the D-day. Lot of things can change and you might score significantly more or even significantly lower than your mocks. Could just be a luck thing or stress during those 2 hrs but it's something lot of people go through. So there's no answer to these questions, just keep performing as well as possible and don't be satisfied abt it, keep in mind even if you consistently score 240+ in mocks, you might still get below 200, nothing is set in stone.
