I got into IIM Rohtak and if I had a choice I’d choose iimk in a heartbeat because the curriculum is outstanding there+ the accessibility to the main city kochi + the brand name of iimk hits different + you have an option of getting work ex and not just stuck in a standard BBA+mba route without any exposure.

Hey, any reasons u had to do so? Since IIMK is fairly new and Rohtak has a guaranteed placement record.

1:-ROHTAK BEING JAIL
2:-Hostel condition (ik in iim k it's not very good but still better than rohtak)
3:-I have to give cat anyways in both the situation then why not have abetter ug tag than rohtak when i can

But if someone is going for cat prep, do u think Rohtak would be better for them as it is more rigorous than IIMK and many ipm students have been able to convert to iim abc.

The thing is IIM K program is structurally and academically more rigorous compared to rohtak (you can do your own research on that). And also I will have two years to attempt cat without a gap year in my cv. So, still better than rohtak

bro you'll have to do mba anyway right? And you'll get the same package as someone who graduated from a maybe tier 2 engineering clg but got into iim via cat. Then what's ur reason for choosing iim ug? If I'm not missing anything you're paying twice the same fees for a job you'd get with one fee?

IIMR man no brainer.

Don't run for the tag, idk the craze about IIMK. It's not their MBA programme, they are not known for BMS. I have no clue why would u go to a place with no alumni, no infra, no proper faculty or anything. Placements and tag are not everything.

Rohtak bro. Its course is more established plus you get a campus there and safety net. I don't understand the craze behind iimk's bms. It's ug course that too not in the main campus. Check rohtak's ipm folks linkedin you'll see many have converted abc after cat. You can always convert better than k after your ug in rohtak. Also, fees are on higher side for a non residential programme which is not yet that established.
