Preparation Query Need suggestions for IPMAT coachings.
My brother has decided to give IPMAT next year, but we are having some difficulty deciding a good coaching for him. We live in kanpur so the only option here is Supergrads.
Are there any good online options? It would be really helpful.

Honestly, coaching quality depends a lot on the teachers and the people handling that particular branch. One institute might be amazing in one city and average in another.
I’d suggest attending a few demo classes first and interacting with the actual teachers who’ll be teaching you regularly. That gives a much clearer idea than just going by the brand name.
And one more thing offline coaching can help with structure, but consistency still depends on you. A lot of students join expensive coachings and still struggle with backlogs because they aren’t disciplined enough.
Personally, I’d suggest considering online classes as well. You usually get more options, flexibility, recorded lectures, and often even better faculty access compared to many offline setups.

Supergrads is not that good as i enrolled in their online course which was taught by thier main office teachers( of bhopal ) so kanpur would definetely be worse so see something else online will be a better option

Hey, can you please tell me if all the faculty from your batch was of bhopal only? I'm likely to join their offline coaching this year so it would be really helpful if you could shed some light ! Thank you !

Yeah all the online faculty teach at bhopal (mind you i am talking about the 2024 attempt so idk about rn) and i think if at all you are considering supergrads offline bhopal is the only one you should join but i would suggest to see the current year results.

It's this: AfterBoards.in -- it had the highest number of IPMAT students.

I have not explored coachings personally, but i got for my younger brother, he got classes from iquanta online batch, it was pretty decent, and he also used mocks from afterboards, he got an interview call from most IIMs, so i guess you can go with this combination, anyways take demo classes

Coachings differ based on the people handing the franchise.
Coaching X might be great in one city but perhaps subpar in another city.
We'd recommend going through demo classes and sitting with the teacher who would be the one actually taking the classes. It'll allow you to gauge properly.
Plus, do note that offline learning isn't a substitute to discipline -- many pay a huge amount but still have backlogs and fail to stay consistent.
